Once more into the breach

It's been about 4 years since another group of the Alliance's finest dealt with the evil of Lady Katrina Prestor, the dragon Onyxia. I was in that group and others dealt with her as well. Now she is back and had to be put down yet again. Me new friends gathered 'round the core of the guild Relentless and out her down this time.

SMITE! was handed out by all, but especially by your favorite dwarf, Adnar.

I SMOTE! the festering evil that grows in the whelp pit. I also completed the traditional run through as a tribute to our success and in remembrance of "The Gathering"

Now on to Icecrown and that devil Arthas.

Have I ever expressed just how much I love my healer? In many cases my healer is Shiningstar. Many of you reading this know her as well. I would like to take a moment to recognize just how often she keeps me alive.

As a tank of the Light, it is my sworn duty to SMITE! evil. As all pally tanks know the best way to accomplish this is to round up as many bad guys as possible and consecrate them to death.

Shiny keeps me alive when I get 1 to 20 bad guys too many. Thanks Shiny!

Greetings from moisty Zangarmarsh!

Things have been looking up here in Serpentshrine Carvern. Me and my friends finally dried out our robes and armor when we got done killing Morogrim Tidewalker. The fish smell from the murlocs still stayes with you though. There are 2 other people guarding the way to the Lady and we killed them today. Here is Leotheras. He's not very big!

Well can you believe after a string of success we finally met the Lady Vashj. She had a few friends welcome us as well.

Maybe we will come back and see her next week.

I have found there is really only one way to be ready for a ready check in life. Pick up your yellow stein, a dark iron mug, and get out that pet wolpertinger. Lastly, put on your lederhosen and drink a pint when those pesky ready checks come upon you while adventuring with friends.

It seems Morogrim Tidewalker is a little bound. Could it be that he is not tidewalking enough? He stands around in the Serpentshrine Cavern waiting for adventurers to come and try to kill him.

He's got stress. Not to mention this evil naga queen who you know is on him about every little thing. "Your murlocks are leaving messes every where." "Your water is all yellow." "Do you even know where our bathroom is?" Cut the guy a break Vasje. I feel for him. Next time I see him, I think we should just kill him and take him out of his misery.

Get your B.E.E.R. Goggles equipped and Gruul really gets knocked down to size. This was my first successful attempt on Gruul and I had a great time.

Most memorable quote when Gruul was at 2% and Addy had been off tanking since around 20%:

Sometimes its the bugs that kill RAIDs dead. Sagan, maybe some extra plate hidden in those robes would help out. I'm just sayin' the bugs tend to like you and some protection might be in order.

Before I knew the Gathering I couldn't get a raid to save my life. I was a nothing, nowhere, a nobody. Then I got to know you and now people call me Adnar Helmshield!

These were the days. A 5 pally raid. No, Aurial could not participate. A ToD Ony. Then there were all those involved who helped me get my pony. Fury is such a great horse. Truly some fun times were had by all. I thank those who played with me in the past and look forward to good times in the future.

He requires assistance in SMITE!ing the evil in his land and requests my presence as soon as possible. My friends, we must answer Adraenai's call. Come with me through the Dark Portal and SMITE! To travel through the Dark Portal one must travel to ye nearest games shoppe and put down your coin for transport. It could be months before enough coin is collected, an expedition to be financed, and a glorius expansion for the alliance into Outland. Do all you can and I will see you on the other side.

Today we start a new series. A monumental series. A series to rival anything that has happened in Azeroth to date. A task worthy of someone who has no life and has extra time on his hands. I, Adnar Helmshield, will help introduce you to the wild and crazy girls and guys that make up the Gathering. What expose wouldn't start out interviewing our head Meat Puppet Huntarr? This heavy hitting human of high health and humor keeps this ragtag band of raiders laughing wherever we go. First in and first down is how I like to think of Huntarr. A true Juggernaut in every sense of the word. When asked how he felt about being the first Gathering member to be interviewed for Silverhand WoWGeek his response was, "Don't chew you who I am?" What to say about our friend Razorgore the Untamed? Oh ya.. he is a #@#$%?!! and a %##":?*!! to boot. On our last serious attempt we almost had him. I know I speak for others when I say it was a thing 'O beauty when we got all the kiting down and all those mobs were running in circles. We have come so far in so little time.

Fallen Circle hits Honored en mass

Last night many Fallen Circle members became good friends with Duke Hydraxis. Really, he is not much a friend. All he goes on about is his enemies of the earth, air, and fire. Whatever. He won't give you homemade cherry pies. He won't help raid in Barron side strat for a special shield. He won't even give you mana water. What kind of a friend it that?

Vaaling was already on this forsaken rock that even the Lightbringer wouldn't go to, but here I am. Shortly following my arrival, Lhun, Sedina, and Sagan showed up and each tried to get something out of this guy. Sagan soon portaled us back to Ironforge and left Ciomara and Elygran to fend for themselves. Suckers!

Members of the Fallen Circle and the Gathering can expect to see this guy regularly in the future. Try not to kill yourself as you make your way out to see him.

Pally Power owns Molten Core

In a spectacular turn of events, at least for the Followers of the Light and the example of the most revered Uther the Lightbringer, the paladins of the Gathering alliance made out like demons last night! Nearly a full set of Lawbringer armor was droppped by various baddies in Molten Core and also the Aurastone Hammer shown in the hand of our most distiguished leader, Elygran. Let's face it, the old man needed it! Elygran, Doogan, Faenar, Weezel, and Adnar would like to extend many thanks to all the other "support classes" that particiapted in our glorious victory last night. Long live the Gathering as we SMITE the forces that stand against us.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Adnar is deep undercover in the land of Silithus. The Gathering is planning an excursion into the Hive infested land and Adnar is leading the way to discover what evils await us in this strange land.

The Scareb Wall in southern Silithus is impregnible. What evil is sealed behind it and can The Gathering find a way through?

What possible use can this ancient gong be put to?

This emissary of the silithid was easily defeated primarily by members of The Gathering. Good job to all.

After solo clearing the way to Hakkar and making an unsuccessful attempt to smite the Soulflayer by himself, members of The Gathering caught up to Adnar and prepared to do battle

During the battle The Gathering contracted some kind of uber-STD that helped fell the blood god (Adnar blames Vaaling for fooling around with the reptiles in there. Bad Vaaling! Bad!)

Sure we had some fits and starts. The horror!

Ultimately, we prevailed.

The Gathering has arrived. All the hard work and months of raiding has paid off. We all paused to reflect on the achievement and take a pic for posterity

Dire Maul trip succeeds after a slow start

Don't you hate it when this happens? You activate your ultrasafe transporter: Gadgetzan and end up looking like some warrior on a good day. Luckily, the effects wore off soon enough and I was off to the Dire Maul to help Raynia put her days of Kmart water behind her.

However, after Adnar arrived at the Dire Maul a certain ogre took an exception to the fact that I was there.

Did I mention Raynia met a different ogre?

Nothing but smooth sailing after this. Alzzin and his minions were smited with due haste. Congrats to all involved.

In a perfectly executed extraction from Zul'Goober 3 paladins Weezel, Cirumsus, and yours truly, successfully bubblehearthed out at the exact time. What was more amazing and garners the 10 rating is that all 3 did it with no knowledge of the other's intentions.

Citizens of the Eastern Kingdoms please go back about your business. Adnar Helmshield destroyed 8 ziggurats in Plaguewood to increase safety in the area. The structures in question we set ablaze while serving as an agent for the Argent Dawn.

Fallen Circle formed

On a day that will be long remembered throughout the ages, Fallen Circle guild was formed on Hallow's End Eve in Stormwind. 5 council members will lead this new venture. All involved pledged to have fun while adventuring in the World of Warcraft.

Most involved then retired to local inns and hit the mead hard and bought lottery tickets.
